By Kwabena ‘Onike’ Boateng
Players of former Premier League campaigners, Okwahu United have come under a scathing attack by one of their team’s management members, Kwabena Boateng.
In an interview with Accra-based Peace FM, Boateng said: “We have to do something about our players. They like sex too much. That is what most of them are doing. They are not focused on the game but rather concentrate on having sex. Something drastic must be done about it. We had the chance to qualify but the attitude of some of the players did not help us.”
Mr Boateng believed his side could have performed better than Inter Allies who beat them to the qualification slot last season. Okwahu United were relegated in the 2006/07 league campaign and have been battling to make a return since.
