Ghanaian international and Al-Ittihad winger, Cofie Bekoe, scored the winning goal for his Libyan side as they beat Al-Tahaddi 2-1 at home on Friday.
In their second match of the 2013/14 season of the Libyan Premier League, Al-Ittihad picked their first win after a 2-2 draw in their first game away at Al Shat.
It was the home side who went ahead through Nigerian striker Anthony with number 10-shirted Bekoe getting the second goal for cushioning.
Al-Tahaddi pulled one back but couldn't make enought to get anything more from the game, leaving the score at 2-1. Al-Ittihad Club (Tripoli) lie 2nd on the table with 4 points.
25-year old Bekoe was voted Man of the match in the season's first game against Al Shat, where he created a penalty and assisted the second goal.
Bekoe, who endured a torrid year with Belgian top-flight side SK Lierse, joined the Libyan giants in June.
