Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Neil Armstrong Mortagbe, has urged supporters of the club to give under-fire goalkeeper, Tetteh Luggard, the needed support and encouragement.
He was speaking to Asempa FM after his side's 1 – 0 win at Bechem.
"I am pleading with all Hearts of Oak fans, this is the time our keeper, Tetteh Luggard, needs our support and encouragement," he said.
He further congratulated the fans who traveled to Bechem to give the team the needed support.
Tetteh Luggard, has received a lot of bashing by the 'Phobian' faithful, after a series of poor performances. Most recently, he was replaced in the second half by, Philemon McCarthy, when they played against Sekondi Hasaacas.
He was also left out of the team, when the Accra-based side played Bechem United in Matchday 5 of the Ghana Premier League.
Tetteh Luggard joined Hearts of Oak from Sporting Mirren some seasons ago.
