Former Ghana Premier League goalking, Emmanuel Baffour has made a comeback to the Ghanaian game by signing for Ashantigold. The 24 year old former New Edubiase striker who lighted the Ghanaian league with his goals in the 2011-12 season is coming back after an unsuccessful stint in the South African League where he made only 2 appearances after joining PSL side, Mamelodi Sundowns.
“We identified a weakness in our attacking department and this led to our decision to bring in Baffour. We are relying on his experience to improve the club’s goal count in the league this season,”Ashgold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo confirmed the transfer in an interview with Live FM in Accra.
Agoronet welcomes him back into league and hopes he can help the Obuasi club launch a successful title chase.
