Egypt coach Bob Bradley has excluded Ahmed Elmohamady from foreign based contingent for their World Cup return leg playoff against Ghana in Cairo.
The Hull City defender who has been active in the English Premiership was a second half substitute in the 6-1 first-leg drubbing against the Black Stars in Kumasi.
The former Sunderland star is considered a second fiddle to the experienced Ahmed Fati.
The foreign list includes in-form FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Elneny and Mahmoud ‘Kahraba’ all based in Switzerland.
Mohammed Geddo retained his place, Lierse’s Hossam Ghaly was also listed and veteran Al-Salmiya ‘s striker Amr Zaki completes the list of foreign based players called for the match.
