Ghanaian Players Abroad – 16-17 November: Kwesi Appiah bags brace

Even though it's the international break, some Ghanaian players were in action and Agoronet brings you a summary of their performances.

UK-based Kwesi Appiah (not the son of Ghana’s coach) shone with two goals.



In the League One, Abdul Osman came on in the 81st minute as Crewe Alexandra were thrashed 5-0 away at Brentford FC on Saturday.


In the League Two, Patrick Agyemang played 30 minutes of Portsmouth's 0-4 away loss to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.


In the Conference National, Kwesi Appiah scored twice but Cambridge United gave up the lead to draw 2-2 away at Barnet on Saturday.



In the Seria B, Amidu Salifu played 90 minutes in Moden's 2-3 home loss to Carpi on Sunday.

Masahudu Alhassan (90 mins) helped Latina Calcio to a 1-0 home victory over Bari on Sunday.



In the Ligue 2, After the 1-1 draw after 120 mins, Kwame Nsor's Metz beat Amnéville 5-4 on penalties to progress to the next stage of the Coupe de France on Sunday.
