Head coach, Kwesi Appiah has reiterated that his doors are wide open to all Ghanaian players out there, saying every Ghanaian player has an opportunity to be in the national team.
“When I return to Ghana, I will be in Kumasi for the WAFU tournament involving the Local Black Stars, I will also join the team for the CHAN tournament in South Africa”, he told Asempa FM on Tuesday.
“The technical team will keep monitoring locally and foreign based players, because there are good talents out there and they can help the team”, he added.
Already the coach has spread wide his net, having invited a lot of players since taking charge of the job. With this latest declaration, many believe ample opportunity will be given to other players before he selects his final 23 for the World Cup in Brazil.
The Black Stars on Tuesday night, edge out their Egyptian counterparts to book a place in the global event next year. Ghana qualified with a 7 – 3 aggregate score line.
