Ghanaian Players Abroad – 22-24 November: Nsor continues to score, 250 Essien-tial EPL appearances

Michael ‘The Bison’ Essien reached a milestone when he made his 250th appearance for Chelsea in the English Premier League.

Kwame Nsor was the only Ghanaian who got on the score sheet.



In the EPL, Michael Essien played his first league game of the season, coming on in the 84th min of Chelsea's 3-0 away defeat of West Ham on Saturday.

Derek Boateng played 60 mins of Fulham's 1-2 home loss to Swansea City. He was yellow-carded in the 19th min on Saturday.


In the Championship, Albert Adomah played the entirety of Middlesbrough's 1-2 away loss to Leeds United on Saturday.


In the League One, Abdul Osman played 90 mins as Crewe Alexandra lost 1-2 at home to Port Vale on Saturday.


In the Conference National, Kwesi Appiah (90 mins) helped Cambridge United to a 2-0 home win over Woking FC on Saturday.



In the Seria A, Sulley Muntari (46 mins) helped AC Milan to a 1-1 home draw with Isaac Cofie's Genoa on Saturday. Cofie came on in the 78th minute.

Afriyie Acquah came on in the 75th min as Parma went away to beat Napoli 1-0 on Saturday.

Kwadwo Asamoah (88 mins) helped Juventus to a 2-0 away victory over Livorno on Sunday.


In the Serie B, Masahudu Alhassan (90 mins) helped AS Latina to a 2-1 away victory over Palermo on Sunday.



In the La Liga, Richmond Boakye Yiadom (65 mins) helped Elche to a 2-1 home win over Valencia on Sunday.



In the Ligue 1, Jordan #Ayew came on in the 79th minute as Olympique Marseille beat Ajaccio 3-1 away on Friday.

Jonathan Mensah played 90 mins as ETG suffered a 4-0 home loss to Lorient on Saturday.


In the Ligue 2, Kwame Nsor (90 mins) scored Metz's opener, helping them to a 2-0 away win over Bastia on Friday.



In the Bundesliga, Kevin-Prince Boateng played 89 mins of Schalke 04's 3-3 away draw with Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.



In the Eredevisie, Kwame Quansah (90 mins) and Matthew Amoah (on in the 75th min) played in Heracles' 0-3 away loss to leaders Ajax on Saturday.

Christian Atsu played 75 mins in Vitesse Arnhem's 3-0 away victory over Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday.

Shadrach Eghan (64 mins) helped FC Twente to a 5-2 home win over NAC Breda on Sunday.



In the Pro League, Nana Kwesi Asare (90 mins) helped Gent to a 2-0 home win over Waasland-Beveren on Saturday.

Bennard Yao Kumordzi came on in the 46th min as Genk lost 0-4 away to KV Oostende on Saturday.

Abdul Yakini Iddi (90 mins) played in Mechelen's 1-3 away loss to Zulte-Waregem on Saturday. He earned himself a 31st-min yellow card.



In the 1. Division, Richard Kingson was red-carded in the 94th min as Doxa drew 1-1 at home with APOEL Nicosia on Saturday.



Davidson Drobo-Ampem came on in the 83rd minute for Esbjerg, who lost 0-1 away to SønderjyskE on Friday.

In the Super League, Samuel Afum (on in the 72nd min) helped Young Boys to a 3-2 home win over Lausanne Sport on Saturday.
