Ghana dropped to 24th in the latest Coca-Cola/FIFA Ranking released on Thursday. The Black Stars loss in Cairo earlier this month was the contributing factor to the slip.
Ghana, however maintained second spot in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire. Algeria moved to third while reigning African Champions Nigeria dropped to fourth place. Egypt secured fifth spot overtaking Mali and Cape Verde climbed three places to sixth.
Spain maintained number one spot followed by Germany, Argentina and Columbia. Portugal is placed fifth, becoming the biggest movers this month.
