Premier League leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko may have all going on well on the pitch for them but information coming from Kumasi seem to suggest the club could be without major sponsors soon.
MTN and Rlg, both telecommunications industry giant and have all agreed sponsorship deals with the Porcupine Warriors are believed to be developing cold feet because the new Kotoko management has not been able to give them the necessary mileage needed.
MTN renewed their partnership with the Kumasi based clubs only in October after the intial 3 years with a commitment from the club to make their supporters subscribe to the numerous MTN packages and the dream of Rlg to produce Kotoko branded phones all stand in limbo. MTN is as part of the deal also going to finance the payment of salaries to the Kotoko players.
It will be recalled that a huge achievement of the immediate past administration of Dr. K.K.Sarpong was seeking a large retinue of sponsors for the league champions thus making them the most sponsored team in the league.
