Accra Hearts of Oak made manoeuvres on the transfer market ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League. Agoronet .com gathers, the former champions have secured the services of five players.
Striker Ezekiel Tetteh formerly of FC Zaytuna, Abdul Manan Mustapha joins the Phobians from Kumasi – based Asokwa Warriors. Gerald Odupon Wellington formerly of Ashantigold also put pen to paper before the deadline.
Also on the list is former stalwart Philip Boampong, who sealed a return to the side from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Shoulla FC.
Ivorian import Edikeu Thecle Berenger also signed a two year deal with the club before Monday’s deadline. Berenger is the second Ivorian signed by the club after defender Robin Gnagne.
The players will be available for selection by Coach Mohammed Polo when the second round of the season commences on February 11th, 2014.
