Coach of the local-based Black Stars, Maxwell Konadu, has named a 28-man squad to begin preparations, ahead of the CHAN Championship in South Africa next year.
Coach Maxwell Konadu maintains the core of the team that won the WAFU Cup played in Kumasi weeks ago. Joseph Attamah Larweh of second tier side Tema Youth is the only invited player from that division, the list is dominated by players from the Premier Division.
Ghana is paired in Group C with Libya, Ethiopia and Congo. The competition will commence on the 11th of January 2014.
