Ghanaian Players Abroad – 20-22 December: Gyan reaches 70 goals in UAE, Muntari sent off

Asamoah Gyan scored his 70th goal since joining Al Ain even though he could only help his side to salvage a draw.

Sulley Muntari was also given his marching orders in the Derby della Madonnina, as his side lost to the blue half of Milan.

Kwame Amponsah Karikari grabbed a brace, Mohammed Abdul Basit, Albert Adomah, Jo Kuffour, Abdul Aziz Tetteh were all on the scoresheet.

In the Championship, Jeffery Schlupp came on in the 78th minute as Leicester City won 1-0 away at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Albert Adomah scored his 8th goal of the season, helping Middlesbrough to a 2-0 away won over Millwall, their 2nd away win of the season on Saturday.


In the League One, Abdul Osman (90 minutes) helped Crewe Alexandra to a 1-1 home draw with Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.


In the League Two, Patrick Agyemang (90 minutes) played in Portsmouth's 0-2 away loss to Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

Jo Kuffour opened the scoring for Wycombe Wanderers who went away to thrash Kevin Amankwaah's Northampton Town by 4-1 on Saturday.



In the Seria A, Kwadwo Asamoah (90 mins) helped Juventus to a 4-1 away win against Atalanta on Sunday.

Isaac Cofie came on in the 56th minute as Genoa lost 0-1 away to Bologna on Sunday.

Afriyie Acquah played the entirety of Parma's 1-1 away draw with Sampdoria on Sunday.

Raman Chibsah played 90 minutes as Sassuolo lost 0-1 at home to Fiorentina on Sunday.

Sulley Muntari was sent off in the 93rd minute as AC Milan lost 0-1 away to Internazionale on Sunday.


In the Serie B, Amidu Salifu played 90 minutes as Modena lost 1-2 away to Avellino on Sunday.



In the La Liga, Richmond Boakye Yiadom played 73 minutes as Elche lost 0-1 at home to Málaga on Friday.



In the Ligue 1, Jonathan Mensah played the entirety of Evian TG's 1-3 away loss to Nice on Saturday.

Jordan Ayew came on in the 69th minute as Olym. Marseille came back to draw 2-2 at home with Bordeaux on Sunday.



In the 2 Bundesliga, Abdul Baba Rahman (90 mins) helped Greuther Fürth to a 1-0 home win over Aalen on Sunday.

Charles Takyi came on in the 68th minute as his bottom side Energie Cottbus lost 0-1 away to Paderborn on Sunday.


In the 3.Liga, Philemon Ofosu-Ayeh played the entirety of MSV Duisburg's 2-2 away draw with leaders Heidenheim on Saturday.



In the Eredevisie, Shadrach Eghan came on in the 73rd minute as FC Twente snatched a point, playing a 1-1 home draw with RKC Waalwijk on Friday.

Christian Atsu played 73 minutes of Vitesse Arnhem's 2-2 away draw with Heracles on Saturday.



In the Pro League, Bennard Yao Kumordzi played 60 minutes as Genk lost 0-1 away to Cercle Brugge on Saturday.

Eugene Ansah (on in the 77th minute) helped Lokeren to a 2-0 home win over OH Leuven on Saturday.

Daniel Opare (90 mins) helped leaders Standard Liège to a 1-1 home draw with Frank Acheampong's Anderlecht on Sunday. Opare was shown a yellow card in the 90th minute. Acheampong did not feature.



In the Super League, Abdul Aziz Tetteh scored the only goal of the game, winning the game 1-0 at home for Platanias against Panionios on Sunday.



In the Liga 1, Seidu Yahaya (90 mins) and Sadat Bukari (on in the 60th minute) helped leaders Astra Giurgiu to a 1-1 home draw with Steaua Bucureşti on Saturday.

In the PSL, Rashid Sumaila (21 mins) suffered a knee injury and was stretchered off as Sundowns played a 2-2 home draw with Awal Mohammed's Maritzburg on Friday. Awal played the entire game and was shown a yellow card in the 32nd minute.

Edwin Gyimah played the entirety of SuperSport United's 1-1 away draw with Polokwane City on Saturday.

Daniel Agyei conceded twice and teammate Mohammed Abdul Basit scored the final goal to earn Free State Stars a 2-2 home draw with Moroka Swallows on Saturday.



In the Ligue 1, Harrison Afful played the entirety of leaders Esperance de Tunis' 0-0 away draw with bottom side Olympique Béja on Sunday.



In the Süper Lig, Jerry Akaminko (90 mins) helped Eskişehirspor to a 2-0 home won against Gaziantepspor on Sunday.


In the 1 Lig, Emmanuel Banahene played in Şanlıurfaspor's 2-3 home loss to Mersin İdmanyurdu on Saturday.

Kwame Amponsah Karikari scored the first and final goals for Balıkesirspor who beat bottom side Kahramanmaraşspor 3-1 at home on Sunday.
