Ex-Black Stars Defender Tony Baffoe has called on the Ghana Football Association to strengthen the backroom staff of the Black stars ahead of their tough campaign in the World Cup

Following the stars tough draw which pitched them in the same group alongside three time champions Germany and former semi-finalist the USA and Portugal, there has been several cries as to what the stars must do to ensure their qualification from the group phase of the competition and the latest to add his voice is the Professional Footballers Association General Secretary Anthony Baffoe.

In an Interview with radio Univers Sports Tony charged the Ghana FA together with head coach of the Black stars James Kwesi Appiah to ensure every component of his backroom staff is strengthened either with former players or local coaches since that would go a long way in ensuring the Stars qualification from of the group stage.

Meanwhile the GFA has confirmed it is in talks with the Netherlands to arrange a friendly game for the Black Stars as part of preparations for the World football show piece.
