Liverpool will attempt to sign Ghana International Emmanuel Agyemang Badu in January, according to reports in the UK press.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers has recently lamented on his lack of squad in depth and is looking to bolster his defensive midfield strength.
Liverpool have been informed of the diminutive player's desire to play in the Premier League and are planning to snap him for £7million.
Agyemang Badu has featured prominently for club side Udinese this season with 11 appearances. He has also played a key role for national side Ghana, in the World Cup qualifiers.
Liverpool are not the only English club to hold interest in the player,Tottenham and Stoke have previously scouted the player.
