Former FA boss, Ben Kuoffie, is delighted with the performance of the Black Star team at the CHAN competition ongoing in South Africa.

''This tournament has been really competitive. The teams are serious with the competition now, good preparation has led to its competitiveness'', he was quoted as saying in an interview with GTV’s Jerry Kwame Ayensu.

A lot has been said about the team’s performance and lack of goals in the competition, but ‘’Uncle Ben’’ believes the team have been tactically astute.

What do they mean by terrible, a non performing team in the final? He asked.

''The team is playing tactically well, they are not playing the fancy football and that’s one thing I admire about them. Their approach to the competition is right, more defending than attack, a reason why they are heading into the final''.

''The only problem I have with them is their possession, aside that am very pleased with their approach, he added''.

''Saturday’s final is going to be an open one, based on what I have seen, Ghana will win''.
