Black Stars gaffer James Kwesi Appiah has revealed that inactive players will not make his team for the World Cup in Brazil later this year.
The 52-year-old manager would only invite active players into his 23-man squad for the mundial in Brazil.
" I will not call any player who doesn’t have a club into the Black Star team, the more they play the better they get and it’s also builds their confidence", he was quoted as saying in an interview with local radio station Asempa FM.
He added “I am particularly glad to see some of the players move to different clubs for more play time. I am very happy for (Michael) Essien, (Samuel) Inkoom, Jordan (Ayew) and (Majeed) Warris who are all playing now".
The coach is currently on monitoring duty of his players and has opened his door wide for selection.
