First Capital Plus Premier League round-up: Hearts of Oak, King Faisal record wins Ashgold stutter at home

Hearts of Oak got back to winning ways in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Aduana Stars, ensuring they closed the gap on leaders Kotoko who have two outstanding games.
Eric Kumi struck for the visitors on 57 minutes after good play from Emmanuel Hayford set him free in the penalty box, he cooly beat onrushing keeper Stephen Adams in goal for Aduana. The goal stirred Mohammed Polo’s men on; they played above themselves making a lot of incursions in the half of Aduana.
Ashantigold suffered a 2-0 loss at home in the match day 17 fixture against Bechem United. Noah Martey scored in the 24th minute finishing off a good move from Augustine Ocran; his right footed shot flew straight into the roof of the net, beating goalkeeper Nana Bonsu in post for the miners.
Augustine Ocran completed the scoring in injury time to give Bechem United a vital three points.
At the Kpando Stadium, Wa All Stars continued their inspired form with a 1-0 victory over Heart of Lions. Paul Asare De Vries 39th minute strike was all All Stars needed to secure a much needed win.
Lions dropped to third place while All Stars leaped to sixth place on the league log.
At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, King Faisal beat Sekondi Hasaacas by a solitary goal from the foot of midfielder Wilson Andoh. The petit midfielder capitalised on a defensive mix up to slot in the only goal of the game.
King Faisal will lock horns with Inter Allies at the Tema Sports Stadium in their next fixture.
On Friday Amidaus Professionals beat city rivals Inter Allies by two goals to nil at the Tema Stadium. Amidaus Professionals recorded the same score line in the corresponding fixture weeks ago.
