Liberty Professionals defeated Hearts of Oak in the Week 23 fixture of the ongoing First Capital Plus Premier league. The 20-time league champions were whitewashed 3 goals to 1 away from home by the Dansoman-based club.

This result, leaves the visitors 9 points off the pace in second position to their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko as they seek a third successive league title.

Coach of the Phobians, Mohammed Polo was not disappointed with his side's performance, the gaffer said, "I am not disappointed with my team's performance. We played well but for the referee's unfair officiating".

The former, Hearts of Oak talisman also reckoned "People don't understand football, all they know is win, but you have to consider the circumstance and the total performance".
