Medeama SC failed to gate crash the top four after they suffered a 2-1 defeat in their second outstanding game of the First Capital Plus Premier League to Amidaus Professionals at the Tema Park on Wednesday.

The Mauves could have moved into the top four with a win over the harbour boys, the win for Amidaus however sends them out of the relegation zone.

Daniel Gozar and Richard Ocran scored for the Tema based side, a goal in both halves, the win puts Amidaus two points clear of the bottom three.

Godbless Asamoah earlier cancelled out Daniel Gozar’s well taken effort in the first half. There were chances aplenty for both teams in the second half but nervy touches in the final third were their let down.

Richard Ocran grabbed the winner for Amidaus on the 90th minute mark to send the home fans into raptures.

Medeama lie in 6th place with 33 points 5 shy of a top four place, Amidaus leaped into 10th position with 32 points
