Ghana drops in latest FIFA ranking

Ghana dropped three places in April’s editions of the FIFA /Coca Cola Ranking. The latest list published by FIFA shows Ghana have now dropped from 35th position to 38th on the table.
The Black Stars have failed to make good strides up the ranking after starting the year in 37th place. Ghana, despite the drop made good gains on the African table beating Cape Verde to fourth place.
Cote D’Ivoire continue to lead the African pack, they are closely followed by Egypt who also made impressive strides climbing to 24th position on the table, Algeria, who were ranked second on the continent in the early part of the year, have slipped to third behind neighbours Egypt.
Spain remains top of the FIFA /Coca Cola Ranking, trailing closely is Germany and Portugal who occupy the second and third spot. Four South American sides, Columbia, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil follow in respective order.
