Coach Kwesi Appiah will have the core of his team present as they begin preparations for next month’s World Cup in Brazil.
Twenty players are expected to be put through some drills in the team’s first training session today at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Micheal Essien, Kevin Prince Boateng will join the team later in Netherland. Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey, Albert Adomah, Daniel Opare and Jeffery Schlupp will all miss today's session.
The Stars will play a local select side on Friday in a farewell game at the same venue before departing the country for their training camp.
After the trial game against Netherlands on May 31, in Rotterdam, the Stars will move to Miami where they have their final tune up before the global showpiece.
Ghana are in group G with the United States, Portugal and Germany.
