Kwesi Appiah has named his final 23 man squad for the World Cup hours after Saturday’s pre–World Cup trial game against Holland.
Experienced defender, Jerry Akaminko has been ruled out of the World Cup after suffering an injury during last night’s game in Rotterdam.
Leicester City defender Jeffrey Schlupp has also been excluded from the squad together with Right to Dream graduate David Accam.
Ghana will begin their campaign against the United States in Natal on June 16, and also face Germany and Portugal in Group B.
