Black Stars goalkeeper, Adam Kwarasey, is gradually getting back to full fitness after suffering a thigh injury at the Black Stars training base in Miami.
The Stromgodset captain picked up an injury during Tuesdays training and had to pull out of the session. There were concerns about him missing the World cup especially after his team mate, Jerry Akaminko was ruled out of the World Cup with an injury as well.
But reports coming from the Stars' Miami camp indicates the shot stopper, will be fit before the competition kicks off in a week's time and might get the nod for the friendly against South Korea on Monday June 9th.
The Norway-based star has stepped up his game as the battle for Ghana’s no.1 goalkeeping spot intensifies ahead of their opening group game against the USA on June 16.
The shots stoppers recovery will delight Coach Kwesi Appiah after his inspiring display in the friendly against the Netherlands.
