Ghanaian prodigy Jeffrey Schlupp has signed a new three year deal with his club Leicester city, the English based club announced on their twitter feed.
The Newly promoted Premier League side secured the services of the Ghanaian left full back for three more years as they prepare to make the English top flight in the coming season.
Schlupp was part of the initial Ghanaian 26 man squad penciled for the 2014 world cup but after his below par performances with the National side, he was dropped from the squad that went to Brazil.
His performances for his club though has certainly pleased his coach and club officials after playing a key role in securing promotion to the Premiership last season and therefore attracting an extension of his contract to keep him at the English side until the summer of 2017.
Schlupp previously had trials with English giants, Manchester United but a deal failed to materialize.
