Bashir Hayford names final 21 squad for U-20 World Cup

Head coach of the Black Princesses, Bashir Hayford has named his final 21 for the 2014 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.

Linda Smith and Theresa Ackon-Cobbinah have been left out of the squad for the competition which will commence next week in Canada.

The final squad includes a good number of players who won bronze at the U-17 WWC played in Azerbaijan in 2012.

Ghana begins their World Cup campaign in Group A against host nation, Canada in Toronto before further group games against Finland and Korea DPR.
