David Addy signs for Belgian side Waasland-Beveren


David Addy is officially a new Waasland-Beveren player after passing his medicals with the Freethiel side.

The 24-year old completed his medicals on Thursday and inked a two year contract with an option for a third year.

The lateral defender joins the Belgian side on a free from Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.

Addy played for Danish side, Randers FC, then later joined Academica Coimbra on loan from Porto in 2010. Porto again sent him out on loan in 2011 to Panetolikos FC in Greece.

Addy was chased by English sides, Derby County and Crystal Palace, there were also rumored interest from several Clubs in Belgium.

David Addy has been handed the jersey number 7.
