Ghanaian Players Abroad – 19-21 September, 2014: Nasiru nets hat-trick in Sweden as Antwi continues fine form in Egypt

This was another eventful weekend for Ghanaians around the world. Goals galore as BK Hacken's Nasiru Mohammed, who is seen as Abdul Majeed Waris' replacement at the club, grabbed his first ever professional hat-trick. John Antwi, who was Egypt's top scorer last season, continues with his fine scoring form scoring his second goal of the season with two games played.

It's also nice to see Anthony Annan back in consistent action.

England

In the EPL, Jeffery Schlupp came on in the 85th minute as Leicester City recorded a historic 5-3 comeback win over Manchester United at home on Sunday.

 

In the Championship, Albert Adomah (90 mins) scored his side's second goal as Middlesbrough walloped Brentford 4-0 at home on Saturday.

 

Italy

In the Serie A, Sulley Muntari played the entire game as AC Milan lost 0-1 at home to Kwadwo Asamoah's (90 mins) Juventus on Saturday. Muntari and Asamoah were both shown yellow cards in the 84th and 91st minutes respectively. Michael Essien did not make the team sheet for AC Milan.

Isaac Cofie came on in the 69th minute and provided the assist for his side's only goal as Chievo Verona lost 2-3 at home to Afriyie Acquah's (90 mins) Parma on Sunday.

Raman Chibsah came on in the 88th minute as Sassoulo drew 0-0 at home with Sampdoria on Sunday.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom played the entire game as Atalanta lost 0-1 at home to Fiorentina on Sunday.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played the entire game as Udinese beat Napoli 1-0 at home on Sunday.

 

In the Serie B, Amidu Salifu played the entire game as Modena went away and drew 0-0 with Catania on Saturday. He earned a 59th-minute yellow card.

 

France

In the Ligue 1, Jonathan Mensah played the entire game as Evian TG went away and lost 1-2 to Bordeaux on Friday.

Andre Ayew played the entire game and helped Olympique Marseille to a 3-0 home win over Rennes, to ensure their rise to the top of the Ligue 1 table on Saturday.

Jordan Ayew played 62 minutes as Lorient lost 0-1 at home to Reims on Saturday.

 

In the Ligue 2, Dennis Appiah played the entire game as Caen drew 3-3 away with Toulouse on Saturday. He earned a 32nd-minute yellow card.

 

Germany

In the Bundesliga, Kevin-Prince Boateng was shown a red card in the 61st minute (2nd yellow) as Schalke 04 drew 2-2 at home with Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

Abdul Baba Rahman played the entire game as Augsburg beat Werder Bremen 4-2 at home on Saturday.

               

Spain

In the La Liga, Thomas Teye Partey played the entire game as Almería went away to beat Real Sociedad 2-1 on Sunday. He earned a 73rd-minute yellow card.

 

Netherlands

In the Eredivisie, Shadrach Eghan came on in the 80th minute as FC Twente went away to beat bottom side Heracles 4-1 on Sunday.

 

Belgium

In the Pro League, Bennard Yao Kumordzi played 66 minutes as Genk went away to beat Mouscron-Péruwelz 2-1 on Saturday. He was yellow-carded in the 63rd minute.

Frank Acheampong came on in the 70th minute as leaders Anderlecht hosted and beat Cercle Brugge 3-2 on Saturday.

Nana Asare played the entire game as Gent went away to beat KV Oostende 3-1 on Saturday. He earned a 10th-minute yellow card.

David Addy played the entire game as Waasland-Beveren lost 0-2 at home to Standard Liège on Sunday.

In the Veikkausliiga, Gideon Baah (90 mins) and Anthony Annan (on in the 64th min) both helped their side, HJK Helsinki, to a 5-1 demolition of Mariehamn at home on Sunday.

In the Eliteserien, Adam Larsen Kwarasey kept a clean sheet, Bismark Adjei-Boateng and Mohammed Abu both played the entire game, Divine Naa came on in the 87th minute as Strømsgodset went away and thrashed Bodø / Glimt 4-0 on Saturday.

Ernest Asante played 89 minutes as Start went away to beat Viking 1-0 on Sunday. He earned an 86th-minute yellow card.

Mahatma Otoo scored his side's consolation goal as Sogndal went away and lost 1-3 to Sarpsborg 08 on Sunday. His 8th goal of the season.
