Albert Adomah scored the winner for his side, which was his third league goal of the season. Boakye Yiadom also scored his side’s winner, also his second of the season. Andre Ayew continued to be talismanic for Marseille as they continue to top their league. And many more Ghanaians were influential for their teams.

In the Premiership, Jeffery Schlupp played 56 minutes as Leicester City lost 0-1 away to Newcastle United on Saturday.

 

In the Championship, Albert Adomah (84 mins) scored the winner as Middlesbrough went away to beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 on Saturday. Adomah was yellow-carded in the 72nd minute.

In the Serie A, Isaac Cofie played the entire game as Chievo lost 0-3 away to AS Roma on Saturday.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom came off the bench in the 76th minute to score the winner for Atalanta as they beat Afriyie Acquah's Parma 1-0 at home on Sunday.

In the Bundesliga, Kevin-Prince Boateng played 78 minutes as Schalke 04 beat Hertha BSC 2-0 at home on Saturday.

Abdul Baba Rahman came on in the 56th minute as Augsburg lost 1-2 away to Mainz 05 on Saturday.
