Al Ain striker Asamoah Gyan has been ruled out of next weeks league clash against Emirates with a suspected knee injury.
The 28-year-old striker picked up the injury in Al Ain's 3-1 win over Al Dhafra on Friday.
After undergoing radiation tests on Sunday, team doctor, Boban Dangobek has confirmed the player will be out for a week.
Details of Gyan’s injury were not given.
Dangobek has however designed an intensive treatment schedule for the Black Stars captain to enable him recover well in time for the side’s big league clash away to Al Ahli on October 27.
Gyan joins the likes of Jires Keembo and Omar Abdulrahman on the treatment table at Al Ain.
