Ghana head coach Avram Grant has selected seven defenders, nine midfield players and four attackers for the African Cup of Nations slated for Equatorial Guinea this month.
Following the Stars 3-0 win over Olhanense, Grant cut four players from his team to finalize the 23-man roster, which includes debutants Daniel Amartey, David Accam, Abdul Baba Rahman, Kwesi Apiah and Frank Acheampong.
Samuel Inkoom who was making a return to the squad after a long absence was cut, along with Ibrahim Moro and defender Kwabena Adusei.
A late call up was given to Norway based Mahatma Otoo who replaced injured Abdul Majid Warris, Coach Grant also omitted Jeffrey Schlupp from the squad because of an injury.
The Stars will continue their fine tuning in Spain before heading to Equatorial Guinea where they face Senegal, South Africa and Algeria in Group C.
