Ghanaian Players Abroad – 30th October: Unknown Yakinu scores in Belgium

A number of Ghanaians were in action for their teams on Wednesday and Agoronet brings you another comprehensive round up of their performances for their various clubs, outside Ghana.

A largely unfamiliar name with Ghanaians was the only one who scored a goal, in the Belgian Pro League.

Italy

In the Serie A, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu came off the bench in the 71st minute as Udinese went away to beat Raman Chibsah's Sassuolo 2-1. Chibsah was an unused sub.

Sulley Muntari played 75 minutes of AC Milan's 1-1 home draw with Lazio.

Kwadwo Asamoah was an unused sub as Juventus beat Catania 4-0 at home.

Both Isaac Cofie and Afriyie Acquah were unused subs for Genoa and Parma respectively. Genoa won 1-0 at home.

Alfred Duncan was also an unused sub for Livorno, who drew 3-3 with Torino at home.

 

Belgium

In the Pro League, Abdul Yakinu Iddi came off the bench in the 80th minute and scored in the 89th as Mechelen drew 2-2 away with Sporting Charleroi.

Bennard Yao Kumordzi came of the bench in the 71st minute as Genk beat Kortrijk 1-0 at home.

Frank Acheampong played 69 minutes as Anderlecht went away and beat KV Oostende 3-0.

Nana Asare played 58 minutes in Gent's 3-2 away loss to Zulte-Waregem.

 

Netherlands

 

In the Netherlands Cup, Christian Atsu played the entirety of Vitesse Arnhem's 5-0 home defeat of Second Division side Noordwijk.

 

Russia

In the Russian Cup, Abdul Majeed Waris was an unused sub in Spartak Moskva's 1-0 away win over Edward Kpodo's Shinnik. Kpodo played the entire game.

 

Tunisia

Harrison Afful featured for Esperance de Tunis who went away and beat Grombalia Sports 1-0.

 

Turkey

In the Turkey Cup, Jerry Akaminko came off the bench and helped Eskişehirspor to a 2-0 home win over Alanyaspor.
