Lazio midfield dynamo Ogenyi Onazi has reiterated that he would love to play for Liverpool despite interest from Everton, Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin who wanted the Nigerian over the summer, only for Lazio to reject the offers.
Onazi, 20, who played for Nigeria against Italy at Craven Cottage on Monday, has been impressive in Serie A this season and has now attracted interest from Liverpool and it is thought that Liverpool scouts were present to watch the player. And it seems that should a move become a possibility, Onazi would prefer a move to Liverpool in any case.
He said: "I would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League.
"Liverpool? They are a huge team and are attractive to any footballer. I could see myself playing for them."
