Another eventful week for Ghanaians. Andre Ayew scored twice, as did David Accam. John Antwi scored another winner in Egypt. Jonathan Mensah was also another scorer, a rather unusual source.

Monday, September 22.

Richard Ofori came on in the 51st minute as Académica drew 2-2 at home with Estoril in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Mohammed Abubakari (90 mins) and Emmanuel Kwame Agyemang Boakye (45 mins) helped Åtvidaberg to a 2-2 home draw with Norrköping.

Abdul Majeed Waris played the entire game as Trabzonspor went away to draw 1-1 with Istanbul Basak. He earned a 63rd-minute yellow card.


Tuesday, September 23.

Andre Ayew (90 mins) scored twice as Olympique Marseille went away and thrashed Reims 5-0.

Sulley Muntari played 45 minutes as AC Milan went away and drew 2-2 with Empoli. He earned a 36th-minute yellow card.

Amidu Salifu played the entire game as Modena drew 0-0 at home with Perugia.

Francis Agbleta played the first 22 minutes as Braila lost 0-1 at home to Otelul Galati in the Cupa României.


Wednesday, September 24.

Jonathan Mensah scored the winner as Evian TG beat Lens 2-1 at home.

Jordan Ayew came on in the 58th minute as Lorient went away and lost 0-4 to Olympique Lyonnais.

Baba Abdul Rahman played the entire game as Augsburg lost 0-1 away to Bayer Leverkusen.

Raman Chibsah played 83 minutes as Sassuolo drew 0-0 away with Fiorentina.

Afriyie Acquah played the entire game as Parma lost 1-2 at home to Roma. He earned a 38th-minute yellow card.

Isaac Cofie played the entire game as Chievo went away and lost 1-2 to Sampdoria. Alfred Duncan was an unused sub for the hosts.

Derek Boateng (78 mins) made his debut for Eibar as they drew 1-1 at home to Villarreal.

Frank Acheampong played the game as Anderlecht went and beat Patro Eisden 5-3 in extra time in the Belgium Cup.

Nana Asare came on in the 82nd minute as Gent went away and beat Namur 3-1 in the Belgium Cup.

Emmanuel Frimpong played the entire game as Ufa went away to beat Yenisey 3-2 in the Russian Cup.

David Accam scored the first two goals, the second from the penalty spot, as Helsingborg beat bottom Brommapojkarna 3-1 at home.

King Osei Gyan played the entire game as Halmstad lost 0-1 at home to Enock Kofi Adu's (90 mins) Malmö FF.

Godsway Donyoh played the entire game as Falkenberg lost 0-1 away to Djurgården.

Kwame Bonsu played 69 minutes as Mjällby hosted and beat Ibrahim Moro (90 mins) and Ebenezer Ofori's (45 mins) AIK 1-0.

Reuben Ayarna played the entire game as GAIS went away to lose 1-2 to Östersunds FK.

Samuel Afum played 88 minutes as Young Boys went away to beat FC Sion 1-0.

Asamoah Gyan (90 mins) scored the third goal and gave two assists as Al Ain went away to beat Ajman.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played the entire game as Udinese went away to beat Lazio 1-0.

Shadrach Eghan came on in the 78th minute as FC Twente went away to beat Achilles '29 3-1 in the KNVB Beker.

John Antwi scored the winner as Ismaily went away to beat El Gounah 2-1.

Anthony Annan played the entire game as leaders HJK Helsinki went away to beat Lahti 2-0. Gideon Baah was an unused sub.

Seidu Yahaya played the entire game as Astra Ploiesti lost 1-3 away to Mioveni in the Cupa României.

Nasiru Mohammed played the entire game as BK Häcken lost 0-2 at home to Mohammed Abubakari's (90 mins) Åtvidaberg. Abubakari was yellow carded in the 20th minute.

Benjamin Fadi came on in the 79th minute as Värnamo drew 1-1 away with Degerfors. He earned an 87th-minute yellow card.
