Braimah Kamoko and Ayitey Powers have agreed to face each other on the 25th of April. After several months of failed negotiations, the two boxers finally signed at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday.
The bout will be staged at the same venue and is promoted by Box Office Sports Promotions.
After months of verbal exchanges the talking will finally be done in the ring, the fight is expected to draw a sizeable crowd as both boxers have huge following in the country.
Briamah ‘’Bukom Banku’’ Kamoko (26-0-20 KO) is unbeaten and will seek to keep his phenomenal record intact. According to Allsports.com.gh, Banku has promised to stop his former sparring partner in the seventh round.
''There is no way Ayitey Powers can stand up to fight me and he knows that. I’m going to make sure I punish him very well and knock him out by round 7. Even when I knock him down, I will pounce on him and beat him further.
Ayitey Powers former African middleweight champion has also promised to put a smile on the faces of his following, he has a record of 18 wins and 23 losses.
